Lilah Grace, Two Years Old
I love it when she goes to the fridge to get a snack she always, always brings one for Vivianne.
I love it when she says, “I love you too!” And the “too” is just an octave higher than the rest of the words.
I love it when she sits down to do something, whether it be a puzzle or to color, that she does it with such conviction.
I love it when I catch her reading “her” books and she doesn’t know I’m watching her.
I love that she calls Thomas the “monster”.
I love that she eats almost anything, especially things that are good for her.
I love that she idolizes Vivianne and wants to be just like her.
I love it when she says, “Oopsy daisy” when she trips or falls.
I love that she has a determination about her like no other…but it also irritates the crap out of me sometimes ;-)
I love that she is such a big helper.
I love that she likes to hug, kiss and snuggle.
I love that she is funny and likes to laugh.
I love that she is tough and likes to play rough and get into mischief (the good kind) sometimes.
I love that she is confident in almost everything she does.
I love that she loves to be with people of all ages.
I love that she wants me all to herself when she’s tired…well, I love that most of the time;-)
I love that she goes potty all by herself.
I love that she gets dressed all by herself.
I love that she wants to do pretty much everything all by herself.
I love her. Period.
